Two vehicles were involved in a crash in Lackawannock Twp Friday morning.
According to the police report, 29-year-old Broc Johnson of New Wilmington, PA was stopped at a stop sign at the intersection of Pulaski Mercer Road and New Castle Road, when he pulled out into oncoming traffic. When he did, he was struck by another vehicle driven by 33-year-old Ashley McFarland of New Wilmington, PA.
McFarland’s car bounced off of the roadway and struck a wooden fence. She had two children in the car who were taken to UPMC for treatment of minor injuries and released. McFarland suffered a broken leg and ankle.
Johnson was issued a traffic citation.
