The Living Dead Festival will be happening this weekend in Evans City.
As in the past, there will be movies screenings, although this year will include a new twist.
Kevin Kriess, Night of the Living Dead museum owner in Evans City and co-organizer of the festival, told our radio station that as the movie plays, it will be accompanied by live commentary by the celebrities who appeared in the film.
The three day festival, which starts on Friday, October 14, 2016, will be packed with other activities as well. Expect the annual pet parade, the two pool fundraising initiatives with the zombie scarecrow field and the silent auction, celebrity appearances and the museum exhibit.
The ‘location tours’ will take visitors to the many spots around Evans City where The Night of the Living Dead and Crazies movies were filmed. Both movies were made by George Romero.
