Two people have been seriously injured following a single vehicle crash last weekend in Armstrong County.
According to State Police, a vehicle driven by 21-year-old Jacob Petras of Kittanning was traveling on Worthington Slate Lick Road near Yellow Dog Road in West Franklin Township Sunday just before 9 p.m. when it left the roadway. The vehicle spun and flipped before rolling over several times and ending up in a corn field.
Petras and his passenger, 19-year-old Casey Harkleroad of Worthington were taken by ambulance to Presbyterian Hospital with serious injuries. Neither man was wearing a seatbelt. Their conditions are unknown at this time.
Alcohol is thought to have been a contributing factor to this crash and charges are pending lab results.
