Russell Wilson has signed a one-year deal with the New York Giants. The former Steelers quarterback for one season is now the second quarterback to sign with a New York team as a free agent in this NFL off-season.
Wilson threw for just under 2,500 yards in his only season with the Steelers. He had 16 touchdowns and five interceptions. Justin Fields had previously signed with the New York Jets.
At present, the Steelers have only two rostered quarterbacks — Mason Rudolph and Skyler Thompson.
