Officials say the combination of dry and windy conditions this afternoon creates a higher risk of wildfires.
They also say there is an even greater risk in higher elevations.
Wind could gust as high as 20 to 25 miles per hour this afternoon.
Officials urge caution if you have potential ignition sources like machinery, cigarettes, or matches.
