
A Butler man who attempted to flee police after being stopped Sunday has been taken into custody.
This Sunday morning just after 2:30 a.m. Butler Township Police stopped 27-year-old Noah Burnside at the intersection of Evergreen and Peterson Streets. Burnside had a warrant out for his arrest in Butler County.
After being stopped, Burnside ran from police on foot but was eventually apprehended.
He is facing several charges including possession of a firearm prohibited, aggravated assault, and manufacture, deliver, or possession with intent to manufacture, or deliver.
Burnside has been placed in the Butler County Prison on $75,000 bail and a preliminary hearing has been set for March 13.
