Butler County is seeing a growth in tourism spending.
According to new numbers from the Economic Impact of Pennsylvania’s Travel and Tourism Industry Report, travelers spent just over $666 million in 2023.
Those are the highest numbers the county has seen yet—surpassing pre-pandemic levels.
Two of the highest impact spending levels were in transportation along with food and beverage.
Local tourism leaders say the increase in spending is a “testament to the exceptional businesses and unique experiences we offer.”
