Local business people are welcome to attend the first free networking event of the new year to be held later this week in Slippery Rock.
The Butler County Chamber of Commerce Mixer is scheduled from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the North Country Brew Pub.
The evening will include appetizers as well as a brief presentation by guest speaker Bob McCafferty about his journey as an entrepreneur. The Butler County Young Professionals and Slippery Rock Business Association are partnering with the chamber to sponsor.
