The Butler County Area Vocational-Technical School will again receive a state grant to help train students to be ready for jobs that are in demand.
For the second consecutive year, the PA Department of Education has awarded the Vo-Tech an $85,000 Competitive Equipment grant.
This is the maximum grant size disbursed by the program. The money will be used to provide equipment and hands-on training to students in various career and technical education programs.
A total of nearly $5 million in funding has been dispersed to schools across the state through this competitive grant program.
