Butler Township has approved a zoning change in order to allow a local business to move into a former event facility in Lyndora.
After receiving a recommendation from the Butler Township Planning Commission and holding a public hearing earlier this week, Butler Township Commissioners voted to approve the request by Kenmac Rentals and Sales to relocate to the former Butler Vagabonds.
Since that property and three other adjacent parcels were zoned Residential a change to Commercial zoning was necessary.
Kenmac plans to be operational at the new location by March of 2025.
