Local residents can give back to the community this holiday season through participation in a couple of upcoming blood drives.
The American Red Cross drive is coming up tomorrow (Thursday) from 12:30 to 6 p.m. at The Herman Volunteer Fire Company. Anyone able to donate should make an appointment through the website of the American Red Cross, the Red Cross Blood Donor App, or by calling 1-800-RED-CROSS.
Another collection is being held next Friday (12/27), this one by Vitalant from noon to 5 p.m. at St Faustina Parish – St Peter’s Church in Slippery Rock. More information can be found on Vitalant’s website, on the Vitalant app, or by calling 877-25-VITAL.
