At least one person was injured as a result of a crash in Summit Township that delayed traffic Tuesday afternoon.
The call came into the Butler County 911 Center around 1:15 p.m. for a crash on Route 422 eastbound near Ringneck Lane between Bonniebrook and the Mitchell Hill Road exit.
Crews from Herman and East Butler arrived to find four vehicles involved and at least one person entrapped.
The condition of the motorists and the cause of the crash are both unknown at this time. That portion of the highway needed to be closed for a time to allow crews to clean up the scene.
