Pennsylvania’s top law enforcement officer is looking for consumers who may be due restitution from a recent settlement.
Attorney General Michelle Henry announced that a judgment was entered earlier this year against Vision Property Management regarding illegal “rent to own” schemes.
Restitution is being sought for customers who had a contract with Vision between 2011 and 2019 but no longer reside in those homes. Separate from the restitution settlement, about 250 consumers were deeded the homes that they had under contract with VPM.
Anyone who believes they might qualify to receive restitution is asked to contact the AG’s office by phone or online as soon as possible since the distribution list is expected to be finalized later this week.
