A longtime business operator and community volunteer has died.
Judith Raisley passed away over the weekend after a battle with leukemia.
Raisley was a housewife and mother when her husband Ed died leaving her to run the Raisley Funeral Home in Prospect.
She would run the funeral home for the next 40 years, while also serving as a member of the Slippery Rock school board, a tax collector, and the Rotary Club of Portersville-Prospect.
Raisely also was a volunteer with Meals on Wheels and her church.
Raisely was 79.
