Pennsylvania Senate lawmakers will send a bill to the state house to help improve payment options for small games of chance.
Lawmakers in Pennsylvania are looking to allow for people to use mobile payments when organization’s host fundraising events.
These fundraisers can be seen at volunteer fire companies, churches, youth sports leagues, veterans’ groups and other civic organizations that often depend on small donations.
Advocates say that the change in law is needed due to the lack of cash most people carry today.
No word on when the bill will be voted for in the state house.
