The annual Butler County Chamber of Commerce celebrate business dinner is planned for later this week.
The event will begin with a cocktail social at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday followed by a gourmet dinner and dessert, continuing until 8:30 at the Slippery Rock University Ballroom on the third floor of the Smith Student Center.
The Chamber will recognize local businesses and business leaders as well as highlight Chamber activities, programs, and volunteers. Cleveland Cliffs Butler Works is being recognized as the David L. Lloyd Chamber Champion.
Doug Sprankle of Sprankle’s Neighborhood Markets Saxonburg will receive the William A. Morgan Entrepreneur of the Year. Tammy Schuey General Manager of the Butler Eagle has been chosen for the Stan Kosciuszko Leadership Excellence Award.
The 35 graduates from this year’s Leadership Butler County program will also be recognized. Individual tickets are $90 or $850 for a table of 10 through the Chamber website.
