The Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection is now offering $1 million for projects for environmental education and stewardship.
Applications will be accepted through November 15th for grants that will provide “environmental education projects that engage people about clean water and climate change, especially projects that focus on environmental justice areas.”
A free Environmental Education Grant Program webinar will be held on October 10 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. to provide more information and instructions in completing application forms. The registration deadline date for the webinar is September 30th.
Grants can range from $5,000 to $65,000 depending on size and county impact. The funding for these projects will be through reimbursement and must be implemented through July 1st 2025 to June 30th 2026.
