One person was taken to the hospital after a car went over an embankment Thursday night.
The crash happened just after 8 p.m. in the 7200 block of Franklin Road in Cranberry Township.
Dispatchers say a vehicle hit a utility pole, shearing it in half. The car then went 50 to 75 feet down an embankment.
One man suffered a head injury and was taken to a local hospital.
A portion of Franklin Road had to be shut down for two hours in order for crews to clear the scene.
