The 11th Annual Band Jam Grass Roots Music Festival officially kicks off tomorrow with a special event in Slippery Rock.
A Singer-Songwriter “In the Round” gathering is planned Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Cooper’s Lake Campground.
This free of charge event will include at least five local singer-songwriters. Live music kicks off Friday at 5 until 11 p.m. then again on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. The Butler Area Society of Homebrewers will also again set up a tasting tent on Saturday for a $10 donation from those 21 and older.
Tickets to the Band Jam can be purchased online for $30 until Friday morning or at the event for $40 cash only. Kids 17 and younger are free. Camping fees must be purchased separately through Cooper’s Lake Campground. For more information, visit The Band Jam website.
