Drivers in Cranberry Township should be prepared for a lane closure starting today and continuing tomorrow that could cause delays.
Starting at 9 a.m. Haine School and Lovi Roads will see lane closures for the Freedom Road Expansion Project. Flaggers will be out directing traffic until 3 p.m. Drivers in the area should expect delays.
The $18 million project will include new highway and turning lanes, widening, highway realignment and safety improvements, sidewalks, and more.
Work is expected to be complete by November of 2025. The work over today and tomorrow is weather permitting.
