After another dry weekend, our region is falling significantly behind the summertime average for rainfall.
Since June 1st, the region has received just shy of 4.5 inches of rain.
According to the National Weather Service, the average amount is 7.71 inches.
It comes after a spring that set near record totals for rainfall.
