The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation is continuing mid-summer road project maintenance work around Butler County this week.
These activities include drainage work along Old New Castle Road in Butler Township and Saxonburg Boulevard in Clinton Township, pipe installation on Dick Road in Connoquenessing Township, and bridge deck repair on Route 528 (Lindsay Road) in Jackson Township.
Patching will be taking place on Pittsburgh Road in Middlesex Township, West Sunbury Road in Marion and Venango Townships, Euclid Road in Clay Township, and Franklin, Little Creek, and Hartmann Roads in Jackson Township, while seal coat work is planned for Adams Township along Union Church and Mars Evans City Roads.
Crews will also be shoulder cutting along Branchton Road in Cherry Township and Boyers Road in Mercer and Marion Townships. Mowing is planned for Route 8, New Castle Road, Centerville Pike, and Mercer Road in Slippery Rock Township.
