Two local law enforcement have been invited to testify in Washington D.C. about the attempted assassination of former President Donald Trump.
Butler County Sheriff Mike Slupe and Butler Township Police Lieutenant Matthew Pearson are being requested by the House Committee on Homeland Security to testify. State Police Colonel Christopher Paris has also been called to testify.
In a statement from Committee Chair Mark Green, he says “the accounts and experiences of state and local law enforcement professionals with direct knowledge of these events will be critical.”
