Two recent Butler High School graduates are the recipients of a prestigious local scholarship.
The Rosanne and Jane Cavalero Scholarships are distributed through the Pittsburgh Foundation for a male and female Butler High School graduating senior with the highest-grade point average who pursue post-secondary education.
Lauren McKean and Riley Chapla will each receive $6,832 in scholarship funding.
McKean will be going to Penn State to major in Finance while Chapla will go to Purdue University majoring in Cybersecurity.
