For the third year in a row the Pennsylvania Department of Education has kicked off their summer reading and literacy program.
The Summer Learning and Literacy Road Trip provides children with resources about the great outdoors in Pennsylvania through public libraries.
The entire program is free of charge and is an eight-week program for young children up to kindergarten age. Resources will include the Road Trip Map, the Road Trip Travel Journal and highlight the Pennsylvania State Parks, Libraries with book recommendations, and family friendly activities.
All activities can be done anywhere.
