A townhouse was damaged following a fire Monday afternoon in Cranberry Township.
It was around 2:30 p.m. when crews were called to a house fire in the Cranberry Pointe housing development, which is just off Haine School Road.
When crews got on scene, there were no visible flames showing. However, firefighters then found smoke coming from the second floor of the townhouse.
Crews quickly knocked down the fire, and the damage was limited to one bedroom in the house.
Firefighters credited the homeowner for shutting the door to the room, which helped contain the flames.
