The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation is continuing early summer road project maintenance work around Butler County this week.
These activities include drainage work along Herman Road in Summit Township and Brownsdale Road in Penn Township along with bridge deck repair on Route 528 (Lindsay Road) in Jackson Township.
Patching will be taking place on West Sunbury Road in Marion and Venango Townships as well as Franklin Road in Cranberry Township, Route 8 in Middlesex and Penn Townships, and Route 422 in Muddy Creek Township.
Shoulder cutting is planned for Hallston Road in Brady and Clay Townships as well as Keister Road in Cherry and Slippery Rock Townships while mowing will occur along Eau Claire Road in Marion Township, Mars Crider Road in Cranberry Township, and Route 8 (North Main Street Extension) in Center Township.
Finally, Jackson Township is realigning a portion of Pattison Street from Hartzell Road to the Cranberry Township line impacting traffic on Old Ehrman Road beginning Monday. The road will be closed from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. with detours posted.
