The Milwaukee Brewers defeated the Pittsburgh Pirates 4-3 last night. Pirates starting pitcher Quinn Priester allowed all four of the Brewers runs in the bottom of the second inning and took the loss. He allowed nine hits over six innings while striking out five and walking two. Priester’s record fell to 0-4. Connor Joe and Nick Gonzales hit home runs to account for the Pirates runs.
The two teams complete their three-game series today at 1:10pm. Pre-game on WISR begins at 12:45pm.
