A teenager was flown to an area hospital following a fight in Allegheny Township.
State police say the incident happened last Sunday morning on Dakota Drive, which is just off of Route 38.
Police say after a brief fight, a 17-year-old from West Mifflin picked up and slammed a 16-year-old from Butler onto the ground, knocking him unconscious for about two minutes.
He was flown to UPMC Children’s Hospital, where police say he was diagnosed with a severe concussion and minor brain bleed.
It’s not known what led to the fight. Charges are pending.
