The dog park at Alameda will be closing briefly starting next month as repairs are made.
Park officials say they will be closing Jade’s Dog Park for six weeks starting April 12th. They say that with the mild winter, the park is very wet and ponding in areas.
That has caused damage to the grass and some fencing.
With the closure, that will allow time for the grass to rest and recover for the summer.
