A driver in Grove City was cited after causing a four-vehicle accident that saw multiple cars towed from the scene.
Police were called to West Main Street last Mondayt between Elm Street and Stewart Avenue for a four-vehicle crash.
The crash began when Marcus Kelly of Grove City rear-ended a car driven by Tyler Hicks of Grove City, who struck the driver of a pickup truck, and that driver struck Gerald Smith. All drivers were stopped before they were hit by Kelly.
The truck driver fled the scene after the crash, but the three vehicles that remained on scene were damaged and two needed to be towed. One person reported a minor injury but refused EMS treatment.
Kelly was cited for prohibited text-based communications.
