St. Patrick’s Day is this weekend and a group of local students will celebrate with a festive event later this week.
Mars Area Elementary School is holding an Irish Dance Assembly at 1:45 p.m. on Thursday.
Entertainment will be provided by Bell School of Irish Dance including a number of Mars students.
The goal of the event is to showcase the history of dance as well as Irish culture.
