A group of local students took a chilly dip last month to raise money for a great cause.
More than 35 members of the Mars Area High School’s Interact Club jumped into a pool of icy water February 23rd at Acrisure Stadium as part of the annual Pittsburgh Polar Plunge.
The group was able to collect over $1,200 to benefit Special Olympics Pennsylvania through this activity.
The Pittsburgh Polar Plunge is sponsored by Pittsburgh Cool Schools Challenge and the Pennsylvania State Police.
