The Auditor General’s office is changing some job requirements in order to expand the applicant pool to work in the office.
Tim DeFoor announced they are opening moer positions to those who have associate degrees in finance, accounting, economics and more.
Previously, all applicants had to have a bachelor degree in order to be considered for a job in the auditor general’s office.
DeFoor, who is a community college graduate himself, says the schools properly prepare students for work in auditing.
