One person died in a pedestrian accident over the weekend in Butler Township.
The call came into the Butler County 911 Center just after 8 p.m. Saturday for a pedestrian versus vehicle crash on Kittanning Street, near the intersection with Portman Road.
Butler Township Police say that a 46-year-old man was wearing dark clothing and walking on Kittanning Street when he was hit twice by vehicles.
The man, who was not named by police, was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital and was then flown to a Pittsburgh trauma center where he later died.
Police say the accident is currently under investigation.
