A local school is having a special celebration this weekend.
Butler Catholic will hold its School Celebration Day on Saturday with events from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. on East Locust Street in Butler.
The day will include games, prizes, food, live music and a scavenger hunt tour.
Butler Catholic School began in 1855 with a small, two-room building called Saint Peter Catholic School. Today, Butler Catholic students have access to great technology and sports, as well as learn languages beginning in kindergarten.
