Crews are on the scene of an accident this morning in Slippery Rock after a student was hit by a vehicle.
It happened after 7 a.m. at the intersection of Franklin Road and Grove City Road.
Dispatchers tell our newsroom that an elementary school student was hit at a bus stop. Other details are unclear on the crash at the moment.
A medical helicopter was initially called to the scene, but couldn’t fly due to weather.
Both Franklin Road and Grove City Road have been closed in that location. Drivers should avoid the area.
