Area residents are invited to Slippery Rock later this week to get a closer look at the many birds of our area.
From 9 to 11 a.m. on Friday, Jennings Environmental Education Center staff will lead a morning bird walk from the Prairie Side parking lot.
Birders of all levels are welcome and binoculars will be available on a first-come first-served basis.
Registration is not required for this free activity and the walk will take place rain or shine.
