Some lesser-known local stories will be the focus of a new free presentation scheduled for tomorrow night.
Local storyteller Bill May will present the tale of Butler’s Lost History in the First Responder’s Shelter beginning at 6:30 p.m. Thursday.
This program will include stories of the Nixon Hotel, Aland’s Toy Store, the Alameda Airport, the cannons in Diamond Park, the Memorial Park Swimming Pool, Clearview Farm, and visits by American presidents.
The event is free and no reservations are necessary.
