A local man is facing charges following an incident earlier this month.
According to Grove City Police, officers responded to a disturbance near State Street just after 1 a.m. August 1st where 34-year-old James Saunders of Butler had fled the scene.
Police attempted to stop Saunders but the situation turned into a brief pursuit before he was finally apprehended.
Saunders has been charged with felony Fleeing or Attempting to Elude Police, as well as Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and other driving violations.
