One person died and another three were injured in a crash Tuesday evening in Center Township.
The call came into the Butler County 911 Center shortly after 6 p.m. for a head-on collision on Oneida Valley Road (Route 38) just north of Pine Tract Road near the dam.
Crews from Unionville, Oneida Valley, and East Butler were dispatched to the scene to find three vehicles involved including one that was overturned with multiple motorists entrapped.
Our news partners at WPXI report that one person died in the crash. Dispatchers also said that a child was involved in the accident. A total of three medical helicopters were called to the scene for transport.
Route 38 was shut down for hours at the intersections with West Sunbury and Mahood Roads.
