A Mercer County man is facing charges for allegedly intimidating a witness ahead of a trial for sexual assault.
Shane Slicker of Findley Township was arrested back in March for sexually assaulting two teenage girls. He was placed in the Mercer County Prison after failing to post bond.
Since that time, police allege that Slicker and his family members have been working to intimidate family members of the victims in order to prevent them from testifying.
Police say they discovered evidence of Slicker and his family plotting to disable one of the victim’s vehicle, trying to get their family members fired from their job, and also attempted to get the victims evicted from their home.
Police say Slicker’s parents Stephanie White and Michael Slicker, along with his brother Morgan Slicker, are now facing charges for witness intimidation.
