Mars biology students will have the chance to experience what a career in medicine might be like during an upcoming presentation.
The University of Pittsburgh School of Pharmacy will present a medical and pharmacological program called “Sim Man” on Monday from 7:45 to 9 a.m. at Mars Area High School.
The Sim Man is a state-of-the-art manikin equipped with a patient monitor that displays vitals, labs, and radiology which is used to teach skills in airway, breathing, cardiac, and circulation.
Students will also be able to ask questions about what it takes to pursue a career in medicine.
