The right thumb injury Pine-Richland quarterback Phil Jurkovec suffered last week will end his season. He needs surgery to repair a torn ligament according to Mike White of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. Jurkovec had nearly 6,000 yards of total offense this season.
