The Republican candidate for governor in Pennsylvania has conceded.
State Senator Doug Mastriano issued a statement saying that although the results are difficult to accept, he’s conceding to Josh Shapiro.
Mastriano thanked all of his supporters and wished Shapiro the best as the next governor of Pennsylvania.
Shapiro will replace Governor Tom Wolf, whose term ends this upcoming January.
