A violent tractor trailer crash has closed down a stretch of the Pennsylvania Turnpike.
The accident happened earlier this morning around 5:45 a.m. near mile marker 20—which is in between the Cranberry and Beaver Valley exits.
Dispatchers say the accident involved at least two tractor trailers. A tanker truck ended up landing on the median resulting in hazmat crews being called the scene.
Photos from the accident also show heavy damage to one side of a tractor trailer with debris scattered over the highway.
The Turnpike was shut down immediately and at the moment is still closed.
