Police are searching for a man accused of violent sexual assault in neighboring Armstrong County who is considered highly dangerous.
According to State Police, 24-year-old Zachary William Baum sexually assaulted and strangled several women over the course of several years.
Baum is accused of sending Facebook messages to random women and soon after, engaging in sexual acts that involved strangulation. One woman was 16 years old and raped in a car at Kittanning’s Community Park. Baum also has two active Protection From Abuse Orders and violated one by contacting a victim to try to get charges dropped.
Anyone with information about the location of Baum is asked to contact the Kittanning Barracks of the State Police.
