A local police department is mourning the death of a K9 officer.
The Middlesex Township Police Department announced that K9 Mibo died over the weekend after a medical emergency.
Mibo had been with the department since 2015.
In a Facebook post, the department described Mibo as “not only a great asset to the police department but to the community as well.”
