Administrators with the Butler Area School District are expressing sympathy to the Texas community dealing with a school shooting.
In a recent letter to Butler families, Superintendent Dr. Brian White stated that the district is continuing to work to improve school security.
This includes collaboration between school police and other municipal, county, and state law enforcement agencies.
White also stated that local authorities will make periodic patrols of school property over the next few days.
