With just a couple of days until the primary election, one Republican candidate for governor is dropping out of the race.
State Senator Jake Corman announced he is suspending his campaign and threw his support behind former Congressman Lou Barletta.
The move is being seen as an effort to stop his fellow State Senator Doug Mastriano, who has been leading the latest polls in the race for governor.
There are still eight other candidates in the Republican primary at this point.
